Switchcraft® Output Jack (2-Conductor)

DiMarzio’s custom taper pot is made to solve that problem by precisely delivering a consistent signal-to-turn ratio, like a 10-position actuator. The Switchcraft® Acoustic Guitar End Pin Jack accepts standard 1/4" plugs, and can be configured for either mono or stereo applications. Switchcraft®’s metal housing reduces unwanted noise. This jack streamlines the process of combining piezo and magnetic pickups, or any pair of your favorite acoustic guitar pickups. The additional terminal can also be used for power switching when an active preamplifier is in-circuit. This jack can be tightened from outside the guitar and comes with a strap-nut for attaching a guitar strap. Ships complete with housing, strap-nut, and 2 washers.

The invention of a five-way pickup switch opened up a new world of tonal possibilities and voices on the guitar, as opposed to the rather limited three-option switch that preceded it. Its revolutionary attribute was making it possible for players to eliminate the 60-cycle hum of a single-coil pickup by way of combining a standard pickup with one that was wound in reverse with reverse polarity (RWRP).

The Super Natural Plus™ is just what its name implies — it goes beyond ordinary-sounding acoustic pickups. The Super Natural Plus™ is voiced specifically for dreadnought-sized guitars, where our combination of incredibly crisp treble and tight bass response will allow acoustic players to deal with real-world problems of feedback and muffled tone. The pickup is built into a plastic cover molded to look like dark-grained rosewood. It installs easily beneath the strings, with shock-absorbing foam lining the inside edges of the mounting brackets to keep the Super Natural Plus™ in place and protect the soundhole. If necessary, the foam can be cut down to accommodate guitars with smaller soundholes. There are individual adjustable poles for each string, and the built-in 10-foot cable is thin and light, constructed to be strong and durable. A slide volume control is included with the Super Natural Plus™ for easy adjustment while playing.
