With the Xvive V8, you get two functions from a single small stomp box! Its Blend control allows you to choose between chorus and vibrato, or to combine the two modulation effects. With chorus you get sparkly, clean tones like you can hear in Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters', for instance. Combine it with an overdrive and you get a special lead tone, one that Nirvana avidly used for the solo in 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. The vibrato function creates a pleasant wavy effect - perfect for surf music or progressive rock, among others. In short, the V8 Chorus Vibrato is a versatile pedal in a compact size.
