The Tone Shaper from budget guitar effects pedal maker Xvive is a two-band EQ stack in micro pedal form. Each of its two multi-pole sharp cutoff filters can provide up to 6dB of gain and works equally well with a with bass or guitar. It’s easy to use, too, with Lows and Highs micro pots as well as a Level knob for controlling the overall volume. Plug in, tweak, and play—it’s as simple as that.
