The DA-10 primary function is to convert a high-impedance unbalanced signal to a low-impedance balanced signal, allowing the connection of musical instruments to be connected to microphone preamplifiers or to run an audio signal over a long cable length with minimal losses. It is also often used within the DJ industry as an interface between unbalanced and balanced DJ gear.
The DA-10 offers many useful features such as a ground lift switch, eliminating earth loops & hum, two attenuation switches preventing the input from clipping and can be powered by either a 9V battery or Phantom power.
