The 10mil single-ply Evans Power Center Reverse Dot snare drumhead delivers both durability and focus in the center, via a 5mil patch. What’s more, unique slots in the drumhead’s 5″ diameter let the head flex, keeping it open at the edges and free to vibrate at any dynamic level. On the underside, the dot on the Evans Power Center Reverse Dot is out of the way for brushes.

The 14” coated snare drum head is made using two plies of film, a 5mil outer ply and a 7.5mil inner ply, that yields an aggressive rimshot and balanced response. A 2mil overtone control ring on the underside “floats” with the head, eliminating excessive overtones and controlling sustain. This snare drum head barks live yet is ideal for the studio.

EVANS EC Reverse Dot snare heads deliver a clean, crisp tone, using Sound Shaping Technology (SST) to pre-EQ and remove muddy, mid-range overtones. The frost coated 7mil top ply and 10mil bottom ply provide a controlled response but maintain resonance and sensitivity at all tuning and dynamic ranges, while the 3mil Reverse Dot delivers extra durability, focus, and attack in the center. EVANS EC Reverse Dot snare heads have a moderate attack, sustain, and tone, with above average durability, thanks to the Reverse dot and double ply construction.
