Franz Sandner is a musical instrument manufacturer from Schnbach, Germany. founded by Mr. Franz Sandner in 1924, it specializes in the production of string instruments and guitars. In the 1950s, due to the split of East and West Germany, most family members moved to the town of Nauheim in West Germany, inheriting Germany's excellent manufacturing techniques.

In 1924 violin maker Franz Sandner founded his company in Schönbach. With the patiently acquired skills and natural love of craftsmanship, precision and artistic perfection Franz Sandner was able to establish its position on the world market quite quickly. After the Second World War the company moved to Nauheim.
In 1958 Franz Sandners daughter Sonja and her husband Richard Schuh joined the company and established the foundation to enter the worldwide export market. In 1979 their son Dietmar Schuh – the third generation – took over Franz Sandner Co. and achieved continuous and sustainable development. Since 1992 Soraya Schuh has supported her husband. Today, Franz Sandner Co. sells instruments in 60 countries worldwide.
To strengthen global competitiveness, Franz Sandner Co. established a joint-venture with the renowned Taiwanese instrument manufacturer Dynasty Co. Ltd. in 2003. Franz Sandner Co. continues to produce in Germany, but in-
struments are also being manufactured in China under
the name Sandner Dynasty.
This Sandner Concert Viola CA-4 is in a classic German style and has a carved, selected Spruce top that has been seasoned for a minimum of 3 years and a flamed Maple back and ribs. The CA4 has an ebony fingerboard, pegs and tailpiece and has Dominant strings. Like all our bowed-stringed instruments the CA4 is professionally set up in our own workshops and ready to play.
Handmade classic German style concert violin. The MV-4 has a carved, selected Spruce top that has been seasoned for a minimum of 5 years, with a flamed Maple back and ribs. This full size concert violin has an Ebony fingerboard, tailpiece and fittings and is fitted with Dominant strings.
